According to GEOSTAT, the number of visitors exploring Georgia increased by 6.2% in 2023, while the average monthly number of tourist visits made by local visitors within the territory of Georgia was 693.2 thousand.
34.6% of visitors were residents of Tbilisi, 16.9% from Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, 9.6% from the Kvemo Kartli region, and the rest of the regions were represented with a low share in the structure.
