Natia Loladze: Pioneering the Future as IFRC’s First Female Georgian running for the Presidential Candidate
In an unprecedented move, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) gears up for a groundbreaking election on December 11, 2023.
Natia Loladze, a former Red Cross volunteer now Vice President, is making history as the first Georgian woman to vie for the presidency of the world’s leading humanitarian organization. Natia’s Red Cross journey began in 2002 as a youth department volunteer at the Georgia Red Cross Society.
Over the years, she progressed through the professional levels, becoming the President of the Georgia Red Cross and later a key figure in the IFRC Governing Board. In 2022, she became IFRC Vice President, showcasing her dedication and leadership skills.
