The European Union’s support covers all areas of life for the people of Georgia and aims to improve the lives of every Georgian citizen — this was stated by the EU Ambassador to Georgia, Paweł Herczyński, in a video message released in connection with Europe Day.
“Every year, on May 9, we celebrate Europe Day. Seventy-five years later, Europe Day stands as a remarkable testament to the success of the European project, which began with the Schuman Declaration in 1950. The European Union has brought peace, democracy, and prosperity to its 27 current member states. On Europe Day, we reflect on our shared history and look forward to a future we want to build together with Georgia. The European Union’s support covers all areas of life for the people of Georgia and aims to improve the lives of every Georgian citizen. To celebrate Europe Day, we invite you to join us at Expo Georgia with your families and friends,” said Paweł Herczyński.
Europe Day, celebrated on May 9, marks the anniversary of the Schuman Declaration in 1950, which laid the foundation for what would eventually become the European Union.
