National Tourism Awards – Welcome to Georgia is an annual award ceremony in the field of tourism and hospitality, which has been held in Georgia since 2015. The event has successfully established itself as a unique platform in the development of the country’s tourism and hospitality sector.

Supporters of the project are: National Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Tbilisi City Hall, and the Protected Areas Agency.

The process of evaluating the nominees was carried out in two stages. Initially, online voting took place on the project’s official website. At the second stage, the nominees were evaluated by a competent jury, which was composed of tourism and hospitality professionals. For greater transparency and objectivity, the process was monitored by independent auditor BDO Georgia.

Winners were selected from 350 participants in 23 nominations. The event was attended by representatives of Georgian tourism and hospitality, government and media.

Golden Tulip is a strategic brand of the world’s leading multi-brand hospitality group – Louvre Hotels, which is focused on introducing new innovative approaches in the industry.
