Georgian Tennis Federation reported, Georgian tennis player, Mariam Bolkvadze is in the semifinal of the W60 Nur-Sultan 2021 tournament, which takes place in Kazakhstan between 12 and 18 July.
After Uzbek and Kazakh tennis players in the first and second rounds, Bolkvadze competed with the Belarusian tennis player in the quarterfinals. She won the first set 6-2, and in the second set, after a 2-0 score, the Belarusian tennis player was eliminated from the match and Mariam Bolkvadze won the right to compete in the semifinal.
Georgian tennis player also competes in doubles competition. Her partner is Swedish JACQUELINE Cabaj Awad. Georgian-Swedish pair will compete in the quarterfinal match against the Belarusian-Russian pair.
