The National Wine Agency of Georgia has signed cooperation agreements with US-based marketing firms Colangelo & Partners and Glodow Nead Communications to further expand the visibility and exports of Georgian wine in the United States.
The Agency stated that marketing activities in the US will intensify this year as part of a broader strategy to increase demand and strengthen Georgia’s position in one of its most strategic export markets.
With organisational support from the two companies and financial backing from the National Wine Agency, the campaign will include:
- Professional tasting seminars in various US cities for wine experts and trade representatives
- Targeted advertising and media campaigns
- Participation in international exhibitions and wine festivals
- Wine tours to Georgia for media representatives, sommeliers and sales professionals
- Enhanced consumer-focused promotional initiatives
The United States is considered one of the highest-value markets for Georgian wine exports, with the average price per litre reaching approximately USD 6, reflecting strong positioning in the premium segment.
The National Wine Agency has been implementing targeted marketing campaigns in the US since 2013, contributing to steady growth in awareness and export volumes.
Colangelo & Partners, one of the leading wine marketing firms in the US, has operated in the American market for nearly 20 years. The Agency has collaborated with the company since 2022, a period during which Georgian wine exports have shown an upward trend.
Meanwhile, cooperation with Glodow Nead Communications begins this year. Founded in California in 1974, the firm is regarded as one of the most prestigious PR agencies in the sector, specialising in strategic branding, public relations and brand content development across major media platforms.
