Georgia Reports 17,066 New Cases, 30 Deaths

Georgia Reports 3278 New Cases, 53 Deaths

17,066 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia, 30 people have died, and 5397 people have recovered.

A total of 1,127,234 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia since February 2020, of which 986,928 have recovered and 14,870 have died.

The newly confirmed cases are divided by region as follows:

9,256 cases were confirmed in Tbilisi, Adjara – 1,523, Imereti – 2,219, Kvemo Kartli – 780, Shida Kartli – 775, Guria – 240, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 865, Kakheti – 683, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 289, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 388, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 48.

2,695,237 people have been fully vaccinated so far.

On January 27, 17,484 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Georgia, 3699 patients recovered and 27 died.
