In the framework of Levan Davitashvili’s visit to China, a Memorandum of Understanding was formed and signed to advance the railway express between China and Europe, with the focus of boosting developing infrastructure and improving routes.
Based on its strategic location, the agreement is anticipated to encourage trade between Europe and China through the Middle Corridor. The meeting underscored a six-fold increase in cargo movement between January and July of 2024.
