Gakharia party: The court declared inadmissible the claim for publicizing voter lists

The party Gakharia for Georgia claims that the court recognized their claim to publicize the lists of voters who passed the verification as inadmissible.

Gakharia for Georgia demands that the list of voters who passed the verification process for the October 26 elections be handed over to the neutral platform.

“The prosecutor’s office finally took hostage the most important evidence of election falsification – the lists of voters who passed the verification, which we demanded to be made public since October 29. Today, the Tbilisi City Court recognized as inadmissible the lawsuit filed by the party Gakharia for Georgia to protect this most important evidence, on the grounds that the apparatus where the lists are kept is already under the control of the prosecutor’s office. The prosecutor’s office actually confiscated the lists. Before that, the court did not satisfy our application for the urgent need to protect this evidence and make the lists public,” the party’s statement said.

As the party claims, the coordinated action of the CEC, the Prosecutor’s Office and the court can be clearly seen, the aim of which is to allow the Dream to fully control the evidence confirming election fraud.

“This is indicated by the chronology of events: as soon as we requested to make the lists public on October 29, the prosecutor’s office immediately started an investigation on October 30, following the instructions of the CEC. And as soon as we applied to the court on November 1 with an urgent need to protect this evidence, the prosecutor’s office promptly confiscated the evidence. Today, based on this argument, the court declared the lawsuit inadmissible.

After the CEC’s delay in making the lists public and the coordinated actions of the CEC, the Prosecutor’s Office and the court, if the said lists are published now or in the future, there will already be a reasonable assumption about possible manipulations related to the lists. It will be possible to determine the truth only through an international investigation,” the party’s statement said.
