From today, March 28, the obligation to wear a face mask in the open is abolished. Wearing masks in public transport is still mandatory, reported Giorgi Ghibradze, the head of the operational staff at the Interagency Coordination Council.

In addition, quantitative restrictions will be lifted on public catering establishments, as well as sports, arts, and other events. Employees distance-working will be able to return to their offices. The obligation of self-isolation for those citizens of Georgia who return to the country without a PCR test is abolished. The vaccination incentive program will be maintained. All restrictions and regulations, except wearing face masks indoors and public transport, are now lifted.
