Deputy Health Minister: Georgia Expected to Receive Vaccine in March

Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia

The Deputy Minister of Health, Tamar Gabunia, said on Imedi TV entertainment activities may be restricted again due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation.

“I understand it’s summer, the resorts have opened, entertainment events are taking place. At entertainment events, nobody wants to wear a mask and keep their distance, but it will not work out like that. We’ll have to talk about restricting entertainment events again. We have already started thinking about making camps for children – recently, there has been an increase in the hospitalization of children. We had cribs empty in the hospitals in November-December, there was never a load, now we are adding cribs because they are full,” Gabunia said.
