Believing in new opportunities, individual paths, and the power of creativity is what drives meaningful change. Guided by these values, TBC (https://tbcbank.ge/ka) remains a dedicated supporter of the Eliso Film Awards, one of Georgia’s leading initiatives celebrating contemporary cinema.
Organized by the Nato Vachnadze (Hyperlink: https://natovachnadze.com/) Foundation, the Eliso Film Awards will be held for the third time this year, with the mission of fostering the development of Georgian cinematography and supporting both emerging and established filmmakers.
The winners of the 2026 Eliso Film Awards will be announced on June 14 at the Nato Vachnadze House Museum in Gurjaani.
An international jury composed of renowned film professionals Angela Schanelec, Theo Khatiashvili, Małgorzata Szumowska, Giorgi Shvelidze, and Lea Glob has selected this year’s nominees.

During the awards ceremony, the Nato Vachnadze Foundation will also announce the recipient of the 2026 Nato Vachnadze Prize.
This year’s competition considered Georgian feature-length fiction and documentary films, including co-productions, released in 2025. By decision of the Nato Vachnadze Foundation, the Best Original Score category was introduced for the first time this year.
For many years, TBC has actively supported cultural initiatives that preserve national values, promote Georgian arts, and showcase the country’s cultural heritage. The company is a longstanding partner of the Tbilisi, Batumi, and Kutaisi international film festivals.
Beyond cinema, TBC invests in the development of future creative and technology professionals through educational initiatives such as TBC Tech School, helping young people gain practical skills and access new career opportunities.
Last year, in partnership with independent Georgian filmmakers, TBC brought the Cinema on the Road project to ten cities across Georgia, delivering a series of open-air film screenings and making quality cinema more accessible to regional audiences.
Editorial note: For publication, I would recommend verifying and standardizing the official English titles of all nominated films, as some may already have internationally used festival titles. This will make the release more consistent for international media.
