Doctor of the Ingoroqva clinic, Nino Kharaishvili, says the vital parameters of the 22-year-old injured at the rally are stable.
The doctor says he continues to receive treatment in the intensive care unit and is in a medicated coma.
“The 22-year-old continues to be medicated. Vital parameters are stable at this stage. He has preserved the integrity of his eyeballs, although the damage is being monitored by ophthalmologists. At this stage, his vital parameters are stable. He is in a medicated coma. He continues to receive treatment in intensive care,” Dr Kharaishvili said.
The information about the 22-year-old boy was first spread in the social media by journalist Nanuka Zhorzholiani.
She wrote that the special forces allegedly hit a protester in the eye with a gas capsule.
Later, it became known that the injured protester was undergoing treatment at the Ingoroqva clinic and was on a ventilator.
