The leader of the ‘Gakharia For Georgia’ party, Giorgi Gakharia, who was attacked in Batumi, has a fractured nasal bone and a concussion, – Tako Shantadze, a doctor of the clinic where he was treated, told media representatives.

“The citizen was brought in at 02:34 by ambulance. He was allegedly physically assaulted. Clinical, laboratory and instrumental examinations were conducted. The patient was conscious, hemodynamics were stable. The main symptoms were a fractured nasal bone and a concussion. Hemodynamics were stable, the patient left the clinic of his own free will,” the doctor noted.
Opposition politician Giorgi Gakharia was attacked and physically assaulted in Batumi by Georgian Dream “deputy” Dito Samkharadze, along with his associates. The attack took place at the Sheraton Hotel. An investigation has been launched under the article “Violence”.
The ;For Georgia’ party has issued a statement regarding the attack on its leader and demanded an immediate and thorough investigation.
“The For Georgia party demands an immediate and thorough investigation into this violent assault orchestrated by Ivanishvili’s regime and calls for all those responsible to be held fully accountable,” the statement said.
