Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 1194 New Cases, 29,709 Tests Conducted

Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 1194 New Cases, 29,709 Tests Conducted

Georgia reported 1194 coronavirus cases, 678 recoveries, and 22 deaths on Tuesday, the official figures show.

29,709 tests were conducted in the prior 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 18,220 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 11,489 were PCR tests.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 4.02%, while it was 2.5% in the past 14 days.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 365,068, among them, 351,144 people recovered and 5297 died.

As of today, 257,974 people got the coronavirus vaccine, while 2777 are being vaccinated daily.

Currently, 42 people are in quarantine, 2639 are under supervision in hospitals, and 611 are in the covid hotels.
