Georgia recorded 362 new coronavirus cases, 470 recoveries and 12 deaths on Thursday.
22,501 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country, among them 13,718 rapid tests and 8 783 PCRs.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 165 COVID-19 cases, followed by the Imereti region with 43 cases and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 36 cases.
The country’s total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the pandemic reached 269 800, among them 263 727 people recovered and 3 475 died.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 1,61%, while 2,25% over the past week.
