Biden to Meet G7 Leaders to Push for Tougher Sanctions on Russia

Joe Biden, US President

I will meet with the leaders of the G7 tomorrow. The US and our partners will impose tough sanctions on Russia – Us President Joe Biden

“The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky contacted me and we have just finished our conversation. I condemn the unjustified attack by the Russian military,” said US President Joe Biden.

“I have informed him of the steps we are taking for international condemnation, including at the UN Security Council. He asked me to call on world leaders to speak out clearly against President Putin’s horrible aggression and to stand by the Ukrainian people. Tomorrow, I will meet with the leaders of the G7 and the United States and our allies and partners will impose tough sanctions on Russia.

“We will continue to support and assist Ukraine and the Ukrainian people,” Biden said.
