The Working Group set up at the Legal Issues Committee in view of the fulfillment of paragraph 4 of the EU recommendations, held a resuming meeting to discuss the legal changes developed in regards to the anti-corruption remedies.
“The process was open and transparent, with the engagement of state institutions and civil society. We have analyzed the respective positions and today introduced the legal changes on anti-corruption remedies. The changes will also be submitted to the Legal Committee for the approval to the initiation on behalf of the Committee,” the head of the Group, the Chair of the Committee, Anri Okhanashvili stated.
He noted the changes will be adopted by December 1, as outlined in the plan.
