The Institute of Earth Sciences and the National Seismic Monitoring Center reported that a 3.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Tbilisi on the early morning of April 6.
The tremor occurred at 06:03 local time, with its epicenter located near Tetritskaro, just 4 kilometers from the capital. No damage or injuries have been reported so far.
Authorities continue to monitor the area for any aftershocks.
