Germany’s Condor Airlines is set to resume operations in Georgia, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development announced. Starting 15 June 2026, the airline will operate direct daily flights on the Frankfurt–Tbilisi–Frankfurt route.
Condor Airlines previously operated in Georgia during 2022–2023, offering flights between Frankfurt and Tbilisi twice a week. After a two-year hiatus, the airline’s return is seen as particularly significant for enhancing transatlantic transit connections.
The ministry noted that tourism and aviation development remain main priorities. Germany, as a target market, and Frankfurt, one of Europe’s largest aviation hubs, are expected to play a pivotal role in boosting tourist arrivals and overall air connectivity with Georgia.
Founded in 1955, Condor Airlines is based at Frankfurt Airport and currently serves 81 destinations across Europe, Africa, North and South America, as well as the Caribbean and Mediterranean regions. Tickets for the renewed Frankfurt–Tbilisi flights are already available on the airline’s website.
