Our party will not give legitimacy to the illegitimate parliament of Dream, – Giorgi Gakharia, the Chairman of the ‘Gakharia for Georgia’ party, said at the briefing, in answer to the question as to whether they will use or give up their parliamentary mandates.
Gakharia spoke about election fraud and said that GD Chairman Bidzina Ivanishvili had “stolen the election from the people.”
“Ivanishvili had a last chance to save Georgia’s European future by conducting free and fair elections, but he sacrificed it to power and greed. We, For Georgia, will not give the Georgian Dream Parliament legitimacy. The election results do not represent the will of the Georgian people. We’ve been collecting evidence and submitting it to relevant agencies, as well as sharing it with observers during the pre-election period. We will continue doing so. It is crucial to recognize this elections as rigged based on the clear evidence,” Gakharia announced.
None of the opposition parties that crossed the 5% threshold or President Salome Zurabishvili recognize the legitimacy of the results of the elections held in Georgia on October 26. The president also claims the elections were completely rigged.
