Tbilisi City Hall has implemented full traffic restrictions around Freedom Square and on Rustaveli Avenue today, October 23, ahead of tonight’s pre-election meeting of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party.
City Hall announced that vehicles will be redirected to adjacent streets, and public transport routes will be temporarily modified.
Traffic restrictions are expected to be lifted at midnight.
Tonight’s rally will be Georgian Dream’s last campaign meeting before the elections this weekend.
