“Minister of foreign affairs,” “Head of presidential administration” of occupied Abkhazia step down

The so-called minister of foreign affairs and the so-called head of the presidential administration of occupied Abkhazia have resigned, Interfax reports.

According to the agency, Inal Ardzinba filed a statement for resignation on Monday, September 4, but so-called president Abkhazia has not yet signed his resignation.

Inal Ardzinba held the position of so-called minister of foreign affairs from November 2021.

Interfax also reports about the resignation of Jansug Nanba, so-called head of the presidential administration of occupied Abkhazia, who held the position since August 2022.

“On September 4, the so-called head of the administration of the president, Jansugh Nanba, based on a personal statement, announced his resignation,” said the press secretary of the so-called president of occupied Abkhazia, Marianna Kvitsinia.
