Ana Natsvlishvili, Tamar Kordzaia, Khatia Dekanoidze, Teona Akubardia, and Ana Buchukuri met the representatives of the Center for Liberal Modernity (LibMod) in Berlin.
The European future of Georgia was the main topic of discussion. The guests were interested in the state of implementation of the 12-point recommendations of the European Union and the view of the opposition on the mentioned issues.
“During a recent meeting, notable individuals involved in political and public affairs in Germany showed interest in current events in Georgia, including the implementation status of the 12-point recommendations, as well as the perspectives of Georgian citizens on ongoing political processes, existing challenges, and significant issues. The visitors reiterated Germany’s stance on Georgia as a candidate and, eventually, a full member of the European Union. They emphasized that the EU closely monitors the performance of the Georgian government in fulfilling its functions and the activities of opposition parties and civil society. The guests expressed their deep awareness of these matters,” Natsvlishvili, a member of the Political Group Lelo – Partnership for Georgia stated.
