“In the example of Berlin and other European cities, Georgian artists and curators saw the prospect of street art becoming an important part of cities’ urban identity and attractiveness and decided to bring Street Art, which has become an organic part of the urban culture of Western countries, to Georgian reality. We welcome and support this,” statedTbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze.
He announced that Tbilisi City Hall is ready to allocate 500,000 GEL to make Tbilisi even more colorful.
“I would like to instruct my deputies to meet again with the representatives of this field and help them as much as possible. In 2019, we allocated approximately 100,000 GEL for the implementation of similar projects. These amounts increase every year. We are ready to allocate 500,000 GEL to make Tbilisi even more colorful. Young people should be given the opportunity to develop their talents,” Kaladze remarked.
