Registration for Use of Swimming Pools and Fitness Clubs for People Above 60 to Start on September 19 in Tbilisi

Registration for the program implemented by Tbilisi City Hall that implies financing the services of swimming pools and fitness clubs for people 60 years old and above is to start September 19.

“Promoting a healthy lifestyle is important not only for young people but for people of all ages. Accordingly, the program that we announced envisages that people over 60 registered in Tbilisi will have the opportunity to use the infrastructure under the jurisdiction of the municipality – swimming pools and fitness zones – free of charge. In the first stage, until January 1, 2023, the program will be implemented in pilot mode in two municipal sports centers – Nadzaladevi complex sports center and Gldani sports complex, and later, all municipal sports facilities and also private facilities will be gradually involved,” said Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze.

Registered citizens will be able to use the service from October 3. Within the framework of the program, services can be received from 11:00 to 14:00.
