Georgia Reports 368 New Cases, 8 Deaths

COVID: New Cases & Fatalities Up, President Urges Mandatory Vaccination for Risk Groups

368 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia, 8 people have died, and 1225 people have recovered.

A total of 1,642,242 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia since February 2020, of which 1,599,511 have recovered and 16,671 have died.

The newly confirmed cases are divided by region as follows:

193 cases were confirmed in Tbilisi, Adjara – 16, Imereti – 48, Kvemo Kartli – 12, Shida Kartli – 4, Guria – 27, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 14, Kakheti – 41, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 6, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 4, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 3.

2,842,541 people have been fully vaccinated so far.

On March 20, 475 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Georgia, 1507 patients recovered and 20 died.
