Georgia Reports 3840 New Cases, 32 Deaths

Newborn Dies of Coronavirus in Tbilisi

3840 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia, 32 people have died, and 4692 people have recovered.

A total of 1,616,159 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia since February 2020, of which 1,517,856 have recovered and 16,231 have died.

The newly confirmed cases are divided by region as follows:

1,743 cases were detected in Tbilisi, Adjara – 167, Imereti – 446, Kvemo Kartli – 192, Shida Kartli – 256, Guria – 153, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 296, Kakheti – 390, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 94, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 63 , Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 40.

2,822,060 people have been fully vaccinated so far.

On March 1, 6847 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Georgia, 9003 patients recovered and 36 died.
