A “New Year village” is be opened in Tbilisi from December 24 to January 14. It will be located in Orbeliani Square, in the April 9 Garden, in the area of the Dry Bridge, and in Dedaena Park.
The New Year Village will host a variety of New Year decorations, installations, a synthetic ice rink, an open-air cinema, fairy tale book and storyteller, a New Year’s market, food outlets, a sweets festival, children’s attractions, and a decorated Christmas tree.
“Ideal for all generations, the space will present Georgian products, including sweets, as well as attractions for children. It is a wonderful environment, and very beautiful. I’m sure many people will come. In addition, every day there will be a variety of entertainment events – performances for children, concerts, electronic music evenings. There will be an entertainment program every day until January 14,” said Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze.
