Government, Chaired PM Discusses 11 Meeting Agenda Issues

PM: Occupation Regime Will be Held Responsible for all Incidents, Illegal Restrictions & Detentions

Today’s Cabinet session, chaired by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili at the Government Administration, discussed 11 issues on its meeting agenda.

A new meat processing enterprise will open in Tbilisi, under the Produce in Georgia program, to employ up to 300 people. To that end, on the Georgian government’s decision, Nikora LLC has received from the abovementioned state program a parcel of land in Tbilisi, along with facilities, for the symbolic price of 1 GEL. The new meat processing enterprise will be furnished with the latest modern-standard equipment, and up to 15 million GEL will be invested in its construction and equipping.

In addition, under the State Program for the Rehabilitation of Tea Plantations, 37.2 hectares of land will be rehabilitated in the village of Sochkheti, Tkibuli Municipality, Imereti region, with a total investment of 134,120 GEL, of which the state program will co-finance 93,139 GEL, and the beneficiary Green Hill LLC’s input will constitute 40,981 GEL.

Under the same state program, 14.5 hectares of tea plantations will be rehabilitated in the village of Dedalauri, Khoni Municipality, Imereti region, with a total investment of 52,200 GEL, of which the state program will co-finance 36,250 GEL, and the beneficiary Ertoba LLC input will constitute 15,590 GEL.
