The Georgian National Rugby Team ‘Borjgalosnebi’ played a match against Russia and defeated the rival with the score 16:7.
The match took place at Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Tbilisi.
Georgian rugby team hosted Russia in the last match of the 2019-2020 Rugby European Championship. This match was supposed to take place in the early spring of last year, but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and was held without spectators today, February 7.
After the match, Georgian athletes raised the European Rugby Championship Cup.
Georgian national team finished the European Rugby Championship with 23 points and 5/5 victory.
