Georgia Reports 2796 New Cases of Coronavirus, 17 Deaths

Georgia Reports 2796 New Cases of Coronavirus, 17 Deaths

Georgia reported 2796 coronavirus cases, 2088 recoveries, and 17 deaths on Thursday, the official figures show.

A total of 41,684 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country.

The testing revealed that Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1359 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Adjara region with 413 cases and the Imereti region with 263 cases.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 6.71 %, while it was 6.73 % in the past 14 days.

The total number of confirmed cases has reached 413,626, among them, 379,685 people recovered and 5768 died.

29,450.026 people got the coronavirus vaccine so far.
