Ukraine and Russia have carried out another prisoner exchange, with 103 Ukrainian service members returning home from Russian captivity, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.
Zelensky says those released include members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service and the National Guard.
“They are defenders from the Armed Forces, the State Border Guard Service and the National Guard. Among those released are soldiers who defended Ukraine in Mariupol, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Dnipro and Sumy,” Zelensky said.
The president thanked all Ukrainian soldiers who, he said, contribute to Ukraine’s “exchange fund” and whose courage helps secure the return of Ukrainian men and women from captivity.
