“At TBC, we believe in creating opportunities that help the next generation deepen their knowledge and fully realize their potential. We are proud to contribute to the development of young talent through our support of the National AI Olympiad. We believe that ambitious and talented young people like these will drive future technological progress and successfully represent Georgia on the international stage,” said Makuna Tavberidze, Marketing and Brand Experience Lead at TBC.
Georgia first participated in the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence in 2025 and secured its first medal in its debut year.
The National AI Olympiad is part of the Tech Olympiads Hub, an initiative established with the support of TBC and organized by the Business and Technology University (BTU). The Hub is dedicated to advancing technology education and identifying, nurturing, and empowering young talent across Georgia.
The Tech Olympiads Hub provides training programs for students, oversees the selection of national teams, and facilitates participation in international Olympiads in Informatics and Artificial Intelligence. Through these efforts, it strengthens technological competencies among young people and enhances Georgia’s presence in global technology competitions.
“The Tech Olympiads Hub is an initiative of unprecedented importance for the development of Georgia’s technology ecosystem and the strengthening of digital skills among the younger generation. By establishing the Hub at BTU, we aim not only to build on the outstanding achievements of Georgia’s national teams but also to engage more young people through training programs, camps, regional outreach, and opportunities to showcase their potential at the world’s most prestigious technology Olympiads,” said Nino Enukidze, Rector of the Business and Technology University.
Preparation for the Olympiad and the development of the specialized training curriculum were led by the Georgian Artificial Intelligence Association (GAIA). Over an intensive eight-month program, students gained not only a solid foundation in AI but also the advanced skills required to compete successfully at the international level.
“The AI Olympiad is one of the most important initiatives for developing the next generation of AI professionals in Georgia. Participants in the training program, the national Olympiad, and the national team gain more than technical expertise—they discover the vast opportunities created by AI and realize that they can become active contributors to its future development.
Our partnership with TBC is built on a shared vision of unlocking these opportunities and supporting the potential of young people. Georgian students have every opportunity to become world-class AI professionals and make meaningful contributions to technological innovation,” said Gigi Giorgadze, Director of GAIA.
On the path toward ambitious goals, self-belief is often the most important factor. Through its education-focused initiatives, TBC continues to create opportunities that empower people to transform their ambitions into reality, develop future-ready skills, and showcase their talent on the international stage.
This version follows the style and structure typically used by international business and technology news outlets, with stronger emphasis on TBC’s role as the key supporter and enabler of AI and technology education in Georgia.
