The National Energy and Water Regulatory Commission of Georgia has written off ₾128,856 in disputed charges for electricity, natural gas, and water between January and April 2026.
The regulator states that the amounts were canceled following a review of consumer complaints submitted to its Disputes and Services Management Department, covering unjustified charges and old debts.
Of the total:
- ₾46,946 was written off in the electricity sector;
- ₾64,171 in natural gas;
- ₾17,739 in water supply.
The Commission urges consumers who believe their rights have been violated to contact its dispute resolution service.
