National Environment Agency spreads the information, stating that from the afternoon of April 29 to the afternoon of April 30, in Eastern Georgia and in the north-mountainous regions of western Georgia, rain is expected, strong in some places, with thunderstorms and hail possible.
“Expected heavy rains on Georgian rivers could significantly increase water levels, flood small rivers, and trigger snow avalanches and landslides in the country’s mountainous areas,” reads the statement of the National Environment Agency.
