The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili congratulated Georgia’s Muslim citizens on the up coming month of Ramadan.
Ramadan is the name of the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. This month, Muslims fast from dawn to dusk.
“I cordially congratulate all the Muslim citizens of Georgia on the upcoming month of Ramadan and wish you a dignified fast, with faith and patience.
“I very much appreciate your great contribution to the public life of our common homeland, to building its future. Your unique culture and traditions are the wealth of our country, an integral part of its diversity.
I wish you and your families good health, prosperity, and peace,” stated the Prime Minister.
