The eighth edition of the 500 Global in Eurasia acceleration program has officially launched in Tbilisi, Georgia. Organized through a partnership between 500 Global, the Bank of Georgia, and the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), the 12-week program will support eight promising startups from Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia.
The initiative has a goal of equipping early-stage companies with the skills, tools, and mentorship necessary for competitive markets. Over the next three months, the selected startups will undergo intensive training and guidance in product design, customer development, growth marketing, and business fundamentals.
500 Global is a leading international venture capital firm managing USD 2.3 billion in assets and supporting over 3,000 companies across over 80 countries. In Georgia, 500 Global runs two cohorts annually under a four-year agreement with the Bank of Georgia and GITA signed in 2022. Since its launch in Georgia, 500 Global in Eurasia has supported over 80 startups, helping the country’s to emerge as a regional hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
The program is structured in three phases:
- Weeks 1–2: In-person workshops in Tbilisi focused on foundational business concepts.
- Weeks 3–10: Remote work with dedicated mentors to define metrics, implement growth strategies, and refine scaling approaches.
- Weeks 11–12: Back in Tbilisi, founders will receive support on investor readiness and pitch development in preparation for the final Demo Day event, where they will present to an audience of investors and partners.
This year’s cohort includes startups working across a range of industries, from AI-based proctoring and BNPL platforms to location intelligence and e-learning tools. Startups such as Cuid, Evolve, TrustExam.ai, Aspis, Quissly, Aino, Faqtor, and Alaqan offer novel solutions in safety tech, digital training, fintech, geospatial analytics, and customer experience.
