Based on the information of the Central Election Commission of the de facto Republic of South Ossetia, after processing 87% of the ballots, there are four political parties in the [de facto] parliament.
The People’s Party entered the de facto parliament – 15.41% (3186 votes), the Communist Party – 7.12% (1472 votes), United Ossetia – 30.32% (6267 votes) and Nikhas – 29.93% (6174 votes).
In total, 17 party deputies and 17 majoritarians entered the [de facto] parliament of South Ossetia.
The turnout in the [de facto] parliamentary elections of South Ossetia was 72.32%. According to the [de facto] data of the Central Election Commission, the number of voters included in the lists of precinct election commissions of South Ossetia has exceeded 29 thousand.
The final results of the parliamentary elections will be announced in a week.
On June 9, the occupied Tskhinvali region held de-facto elections. The Georgian Foreign Ministry has condemned the de-facto election, noting that it “grossly violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia within its internationally recognized borders”.
Georgia’s international partners have condemned the so-called elections held in Russian-occupied Tskhivali region.
