The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, responded to the tragedy that happened in Sagarejo and expressed deep sorrow for the tragedy that took place.
“I offer my condolences to the families of those who died as a result of the attack and their relatives, I offer my condolences to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the tragic death of another worthy policeman who sacrificed his life in the performance of his professional duty, serving Georgia.
I wish those wounded as a result of the attack a fast recovery,” wrote Zurabishvili on her Facebook page.
