From August 1, a zonal-hour parking system is to be in Gldani, Samgori, and Saburtalo districts, as well as in the vicinity of Station Square, reports Tbilisi City Hall.
132 parking spaces are allocated on Gobronidze and Nozadze streets in Gldani, near the Akhmeteli Theater metro station. There are 117 parking spaces in the Samgori district, near the Varketili metro station, and on Javakheti and Khomleli streets.
There are 748 zonal parking places in the Saburtalo district. In particular, on Dolidze, Tekhura, Aslanidi, Berbuki, Aleksidze, Bakhtrioni, Tsintsadze and Lortkipanidze streets.
As for the station square, 286 places are allocated for parking on Abastumani, Tevdore Mghvdli, and Tsabadze streets.
For free parking, locals can register at the information booths located in the zonal parking areas from the first of July.
A total of 1,283 places have been allocated for zonal-hour parking in these areas, including 27 places for people with disabilities and one place for charging electric cars.
