A phone call took place between Boris Johnson and Volodymyr Zelensky, where the President of Ukraine told the British Prime Minister that he believes the next 24 hours, the fifth day of the Russian invasion, will be a crucial period for Ukraine, reports the BBC.
As reported by the British government, in the phone call, Johnson praised the rule of Zelensky after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Johnson is said to have added that he would do everything possible to ensure that defense equipment sent from Britain and other countries are delivered to Ukraine.
The BBC also reports that the two leaders have agreed to stay in close contact with each other.
