Georgia’s Civil Aviation Agency has granted Wizz Air authorization to operate regular flights between Kutaisi and Venice, making it a new connection between Georgia and Italy.
The low-cost carrier will begin flights on the Venice–Kutaisi–Venice route starting December 2, 2025, as part of the upcoming winter navigation season. The airline’s application states that flights will operate twice a week, every Tuesday and Saturday.
Wizz Air continues to strengthen its position as Georgia’s leading airline. Currently, the company operates around 72 weekly flights across 23 destinations from Georgia. In the first nine months of 2025 alone, Wizz Air carried over 1.07 million passengers, maintaining its leadership in the country’s aviation market.
