The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Czech Republic, Tea Maisuradze.
The Prime Minister congratulated the diplomat on her appointment to a new position and wished her success in her future work.
It was noted that the bilateral relations between Georgia and the Czech Republic are dynamically developing both in the bilateral format and within the framework of international organizations.
Cooperation in the fields of economy, energy, tourism and education was emphasized, and hope was expressed for the successful development of these relations in the future.
Maisuradze has been working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in various positions since 2009. She was the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Latvia. She speaks English, Russian and German.
