The Women’s Initiative Supporting Group (WISG) reported via social media that recently, government-affiliated media spread false information claiming that NGOs had not submitted a complaint to the Strasbourg Court regarding the ‘foreign agents law.’ The organization clarified that this information is inaccurate.

According to WISG’s post, the complaint was submitted on October 17, 2024, with an attached document from the carrier company confirming delivery to the Strasbourg Court on October 22, 2024.

Currently, the case is undergoing the registration process due to the high volume of received cases. WISG highlighted that legal procedures are underway and that the misinformation was groundless.
