The air temperature will harshly drop across Georgia on January 9-12, the Georgian National Environment Agency has forecast.

In some areas of eastern Georgia, heavy snow is predicted, while strong winds are expected in Georgia’s western areas from January 10 to 12. On specific sections of road, fog, blizzards, low visibility, and freezing temperatures are possible.

The Georgian National Environment Agency says the air temperature will drop to -3, -5 degrees in western Georgia on January 10-12, potentially causing citrus crop damage, and to -8, -10 degrees  in the east, potentially causing fall crop loss.
