Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on Telegram that the Ukrainian capital’s metro has switched to “shelter mode.”
“The metro has switched to shelter mode. Transportation will not be carried out,” Klitschko wrote.
He urges Kyiv residents to refrain from leaving their homes and to do so only if necessary if an order to move to a shelter is issued.
