The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili met with Ursula Von Der Leyen, the President of the European Commission in Brussels, where Zurabishvilli once again emphasized the will of the Georgian people to join the big European family and highlighted the importance of granting the candidate status for Georgian society.
After the meeting, the President of the European Commission Tweeted that she welcomes Zurabishvili’s strong commitment to Georgia’s European perspective.
“Good meeting with President Salome Zurabisvhili. I welcome your strong commitment to Georgia’s European perspective and look forward to continue working with you,” Tweeted Der Leyen.
