The trial of Nika Melia, the leader of the United National Movement, has been postponed until April 13
Nika Melia will be able to attend his trial, Judge Nino Chakhnashvili said during the court session held today.
Melia’s presence at the trial was petitioned by his lawyers, and was agreed upon by the Prosecutor’s Office.
The trial, scheduled for today, April 8, has been postponed until April 13.
In parallel with today’s court hearing, Melia’s supporters are holding a protest rally in the courtyard. Before the rally, they clashed with the police because the law enforcers did not allow them to enter the yard.
