The United Kingdom has sanctioned the former “president” of occupied Tskhinvali, Anatoly Bibilov.
The Treasury Department of Great Britain announced that Bibilov has been sanctioned for hostilities against Ukraine. The sanctions include the freezing of his assets and a travel ban.
“Anatoly Bibilov is or has been involved in the destabilization of Ukraine, and undermines or threatens the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, because he engages in and supports any policy or action that destabilizes Ukraine, and undermines or threatens the sovereignty, territorial integrity or independence of Ukraine,” — reads the statement issued by the UK’s government.
